Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of ICT at  ISBAT University, Kampala in Association with IEEE Uganda Section, IEEE Photonics Society, Industrial Electronics Society, Circuits and Systems Society, Young Professional Affinity Group, Women in Engineering and KOGABOTS is organizing A Hands-on Workshop on Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (IoT) for the ICT, Engineering Students and Young Professionals from Universities, Industries, Government Organizations and IEEE Society Members.

Scheduled to take place on 20th August, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 7th Floor Auditorium, ISBAT University, Kampala 

 

The upcoming Hands-On Capacity Building Training Workshop on Internet of Things and Embedded Systems for Students and Young Professionals in Uganda is aimed at empowering participants that are keen in learning more about IoT, embedded systems and firmware technology. The event will include presentation on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM Micro-controllers, Network Gateway Systems and Sensors, keynote presentations and hands-on demonstrations. There will also be IoT Project Competition with Cash Prizes for top participants during the workshop, Certificate of Participation, Breakfast, Lunch and Soft Drinks will be Served.

As the demand for IoT Based and Embedded Systems continues to grow in 21st Century, it’s of great value to train next generation Students and Young Professionals, the skills necessary for designing and building impactful electronic hardware solutions that produce value to the society and develop the understanding of Students and Young Professionals on how to integrate various disciplines like hardware, communication protocols and software to produce innovative products. The participants in the capacity building training event will move to create innovative IoT and Embedded System projects for Healthcare, Education, Industries and Present Research Papers in Technical Conferences by IEEE Societies.
