Kampala, June 20, 2025 — The ISBAT University campus was bursting with color, rhythm, and culture today as students came together to celebrate Cultural Day 2025 — a joyous occasion that showcased the rich diversity within the university community.

Organized by the Guild Council, the event brought together students from India, Uganda, Somalia, Congo, Nigeria, and several other African countries to proudly represent their heritage through traditional attire, music, food, dance, and talent showcases.

From rhythmic African drumming to elegant Indian classical dance, the cultural extravaganza was a powerful reminder of the beauty that lies in unity through diversity. Cultural stalls displayed unique cuisines, crafts, and artifacts, giving attendees a taste of traditions from across the globe — all without leaving campus.

“It’s more than just a celebration; it’s a bridge that connects us all,” said one student leader. “Today we didn’t just wear our cultures — we shared them, learned from each other, and created memories together.”

Highlights of the event included:

A Multicultural Parade where students walked the stage dressed in their traditional outfits Dance and musical performances from various regions A Cultural Expo showcasing food, fashion, and crafts from participating countries A lively talent show that featured poetry, comedy, and fusion performances

The Vice Chancellor, faculty members, and invited guests praised the students for their energy and enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of cultural appreciation and global citizenship in education.

As the sun set on this colorful day, one thing was clear: at ISBAT University, diversity is not just celebrated — it is embraced as a strength and a source of unity.
