Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, said India would further enhance trade with Uganda and thanked the Indians working here. Minister Jaishankar, who is on a visit to Uganda, was accompanied by Commerce Minister Francis Mwebesa. They met some of the Indian businessmen operating in Uganda including; Varghese Mundamattam, chairman of ISBAT University’s governing body, Rajesh Chaplot, a Kampala businessman and others, at the Serena Hotel last week. He said that although Uganda and India have good relations, the key to strengthening their relationship is trade.
