To equip students with the foundational and advanced knowledge of international business practices, including global trade laws, international finance, strategic planning, and cross-cultural management. This program aims to prepare graduates for successful careers in global corporations, international organizations, or as entrepreneurs in the international market.
Understand the complexities of the global economic environment and its impact on international business operations.
Analyze international trade theories, policies, and practices.
Develop strategies for international market entry, expansion, and competitive positioning.
Demonstrate knowledge of international finance, including exchange rates, foreign investment, and risk management.
Cultivate communication and negotiation skills appropriate for diverse cultural and business contexts.
(i) Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with 5 passes; AND
(ii) Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least 2 Principal passes (at least one in science subjects) obtained at the same sitting.
(iii) International students must produce the equivalency certificates from UNEB, equating their foreign qualifications as equivalent of (i) and (ii) above.
(iv) Students of HEC (Business) with minimum score of class ii credit obtained from an accredited University shall also be considered after assessment of their previous awards.
